Free City Public Art Festival in Chevy in the Hole this weekend

Blue Badge Service Center seeks volunteers

Lego challenge returns Feb. 16

The 3rd Annual College Town Lego Event is Saturday, Feb. 16 from 1-4 p.m. Teams are being assembled from Baker College, Kettering, Mott & UM-Flint. Last year more than 900 attended and Kettering’s team won with their rendition of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. To be a part of the 2013 Kettering team contact Jonathon Wigger.

MLK Day project

Celebrate the contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by providing personal items like soap, toothpaste and laundry soap for the North End Soup Kitchen outreach. Collection boxes are in the Great Court and Thompson Hall through Jan. 31. Read more about how you can give back.

Einstein’s Bagels coming!

Kettering is working to finalize arrangements to have an Einstein’s Bagels franchise at the corner of University and Chevrolet avenues. Plans are to have it operational sometime in February. Renovation work on the facility is progressing on schedule.
